She found him in the library, still playing with the snow globe from New York. She couldn’t even pry it from his hand when she was doing her reprise of My Cup.
“Finn…” she said softly as she sits down next to him. “Next year we’re going to rock Nationals. Don’t worry.”
“It’s not that,” he whispered looking over at her. “Senior year…it all seemed planned out. I’ll date Rachel…”
"I’ll date Santana if she ever gets her stuff together," she added, blushing when he looks at her. "Pretend I didn’t say that. Whatever I said on Fondue For Two is all…rumors.”
He chuckled at that. “You should have invited me on that. Cheese is the best.”
Brittany had to bite back a smile at that. “I knew you’d like it. You and me…we’re not so different.” She looked at him, feeling butterflies she sometimes felt when they were together. “Maybe we can change all those plans.”
Finn didn’t say anything. Instead, he did the one that she hadn’t even known she wanted - they both wanted. He leaned over and just kissed her. Yes, plans could change. She wanted them to change.
